Race and Course Information

The entire state of Arizona, including the Grand Canyon, is generally very dry throughout the year. Average temperatures for November is a high of 50°F/10°C and a low of 19°F/-7.2°C.

Aid/Water Stations

Aid stations will be spaced no more than 5 miles apart. Runners in the marathon will be required to carry a 20 oz water bottle which they can refill at each station. First Aid equipment will be available at each aid station.

Recommended Race Attire

Northern Arizona is just over 7000' and weather in November can be unpredictable. We recommend that you do not wear cotton clothing for this event and that you have wicking layers and access to an outer shell.
